On Sunday we took a day trip to Lewes in East Sussex.
Lunch at Bill's Produce Store.
Two tempting Bjørn Wiinblad plates.
Enjoying the shade at Lewes Castle.
Afternoon tea at Wickle.
It was a great mini-one-day-holiday and rather nice to be out of the city for the day.

Such a nice place, definitely must visit, thanks for sharing!
Wow - Lewes looks lovely. Passed it many times but never dropped in. Looks ideal for a day out.
I'd like to visit Lewes too. At the Saturday market, there is a Japanese lady who sells edamame, shiso, shungiku, daikon, etc, depending on the season!
Looks like a really nice place to visit! I have the travel bug - every day I dream of taking a little holiday soon. England, Scotland or Ireland are on top of my list :)
Lewes was really lovely, but I think next time we'll go on a Saturday. Sunday was very quite...
