I recently picked up a new copy of the Hummingbird Bakery Cookbook for £4... a rather good price for this very attractive book.
This afternoon I tried the Banana Loaf recipe. Perfect.

This looks yummy. What a great deal you got!
The loaf came out very well... I didn't cream the sugar and butter for 5 minutes, but it didn't seem to harm the process!!
I have seen on amazon some not so good reviews fort he book, so we'll see how other recipes turn out.
