Of my many odd passions, possibly one of the silliest is my fondness for socks. Not just any old socks mind you, but those by Japanese mother and daughter designers Antipast.
A small selection of my collection...
Some new A/W08 pairs, which I buy from Fenwick (crikey, they're now £18 a pair!!)...
It's not easy to find this brand in London, and I often surf for images of their clothing and accessories on the internet. I have a folder in favourites dedicated to sites which carry their goods, mostly Japanese. Just came accross these beauties last night at Space Moo... mmm, shame I'm not a petite Japanese size!

oh i love antipast socks too!the only bad thing is they are not so cheap..you have a nice collection.
thanks yasu! i'm looking forward to my two trips later this year (New York and Hong Kong/Japan) because I will be able to find more Antipast there than here in London!! You're right though... not so cheap...
so lovely to find your blog! and also to find a fellow antipast obsessed person! I love all of their things so much but I rarely find anyone online talking about them in english! when I was in japan two summers back i loaded up on them & recently splurged on a dress of theirs I saw in new york....and some gloves. I also just posted one the dresses you listed from space moo on my blog too a few weeks ago. =)
Hi Julia! I am always on the hunt for Antipast... accessories only though as I'm not likely to fit in to petite Japanese sizes, sadly! In a way it's good that I can't ever find clothes as I'd be very sad at not being able to wear them. I'll be in NY next week and will be hunting down gloves & scarves at Barney's CoOp!!
Just fyi, Ped Shoes always has a fab selection of Antipast. I am completely smitten with the arm warmers they have in stock this year (now to decide which ones...).
