Light
We've been plagued by evening power cuts since early December, including New Year's day. The power went out as I started to cook supper earlier today and as I fumbled about in the dark looking for candles, I decided that it's about time I upped the number of candlesticks which we have in the house.

The power cut suck, remind me of Eastern Europe in the 80s. But it's a good excuse to stock up on some fabulous candlesticks!
that candle stick is gorgeous! Sorry to hear about the power cuts, we've never had one, they always sound so romantic to me but if I think about it a bit I realize it wouldn't be fun at all, especially with these cold weathers!:)
The power cuts are a real pain. You can't do anything! But yes, a great excuse to pick one of these up. They used to carry them at Margaret Howell...
