Sunday morning

A long overdue visit to Colombia Road Flower Market, followed by breakfast in the sunshine at Leila's Shop on Calvert Avenue. A favourite kind of Sunday morning...

Madeleines

Quite possibly the easiest baking I have ever done!   Donna Hay's chocolate spoon madeleines. They're gorgeous.

Where are the Wild Things?

I can't wait for this release... I really, really, really can't!

Log On

Any one for a game of Log On? How cute is this stacking game, found at Daytrip Society!

Sweet Treat

I'm all over this recipe by Donna Hay for chocolate spoon madeleines, which I found today at Cookbook Catchall...

I've also completely fallen for the idea of making these fleur de sel caramels... I make no secret of my love of salted caramel treats!

A Lovely Cup of Tea

A lovely cup of tea with Karel Čapek...  Honey or Earl Grey?

More Japanese Enamelware

New Japanese enamelware from Labour and Wait.

Enamel Tableware

This warm sunny weather is making me eager for Saturday morning breakfast on our roof terrace. What better way to enjoy morning coffee and a fresh baked ginger cake than served on this red enamel tableware from Toast.

Japanese books

Here are some of the books which I picked up in Japan last December, which I've been meaning to share since they came home with me...

Patterns for paper bunting and decorative boarders

Patterns for Scandinavian inspired paper hanging mobiles...

And possibly my very favourite browsing book of all, which is dedicated to polka dot edible treats!

Supper

I'm not sure how I came across Delicious Days, and specifically this recipe, but I'm glad I did.

I attempted the pumpkin gnocchi tonight for our supper... not as neat as Delicious Days but it really was delicious and quite easy to make!
